My Favorite Chocolate Chip Cookies

I grew up with my dad baking this recipe. It is based on the Tollhouse semi-sweet chocolate chip cookie recipe!

Makes: 30 cookies

How to:

1. In a small bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, and salt

2. In a large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract

3. One at a time, combine eggs into butter mixture

4. Gradually add flour mixture into the wet mixture until well combined

5. Fold the chocolate chips in, scarpe down sides, and chill for at least 20 minutes

6. Preheat oven while making cookie dough roundsAbout 2 tablespoons worth

7. On a non-stick or parchment paper covered pan, spread out cookie rounds at least an inch apart

8. Bake each batch for about 9 - 14 minutesThe larger the cookie, the more time you should leave it in; allow to cool on the pan for at least 2 minutes before transfering to a cooking rack and moving onto the next batch

9. Let cool on the rack for at least 5 more minutes and then serve :)
